OVERVIEW
P&I builds HR software for large organisations. Not the most obvious home for a fluffy golden dog — but that was exactly the point. They needed an AI assistant that could make a complex, enterprise-heavy product feel approachable and human.

Character Design
Pegasus is based on a real dog belonging to one of the P&I team. Rather than designing a generic mascot, the brief was to capture an actual personality and translate it into something people could connect with on screen. The result is a soft, rounded golden dog with four core states: Waiting, Listening, Panting, and Yapping — each one communicating what the assistant is doing without a single word.
The Team
Alongside Pegasus, a full cast of 80 human avatars was designed to represent the people inside P&I's world. Built as a consistent character system, each figure shares the same visual language while carrying its own personality through posture, clothing, and expression.
The Office
The characters were then placed into fully animated office environments — meeting rooms, workspaces, everyday moments from the P&I world brought to life. Each scene was animated to feel natural and grounded, the characters moving with the kind of quiet realism that makes illustration feel lived-in rather than decorative.
